Naaz Sultana

Naaz Sultana is a self taught musician, singer-songwriter who writes about personal and social issues and recently released her latest single titled ‘Janane Tumi’. Her music delves deep into emotional and existential truths, weaving raw honesty with haunting melodies. At times, she also turns her gaze outward, shedding light on pressing environmental concerns. Through it all, Naaz transforms vulnerability into powerful storytelling.

Some of Naaz’s notable achievements and accomplishments are writing, singing, and composing “Junaki Porua” for the film ‘Fireflies’, which bagged the 67th National Award in the category “Special Mention by Jury”.

She also opened for the renowned International artist ‘Michael Learns To Rock’ and represented Assam in North East Game Olympics 2022. She judged the ” The voice of Alcheringa 2024, at Alcheringa, a national college festival held by IIT Guwahati.
