Nathan Thomas known lovingly as NATE08, has truly solidified his position as a pillar of the Indian underground scene with his latest album titled ‘TWENTY SEVEN‘.

Released in late 2025, this sophomore effort moves away from the raw, club-centric energy of his debut Furaha and settles into something much warmer and more “lived-in.” It’s an album designed for that specific time of day when the sun is setting but the night hasn’t quite taken over yet.

He brings in his favourite genres of Funk, RnB, Blues, Electronic and House into an energetic mix of dance floor vibes for everyone.

Nate’s secret weapon in this album has been his “elastic” bass-lines, however ‘TWENTY SEVEN’ feels more collaborative and vocal lead with incredible artists from the Indian Independent Scene as well as Global stage such as Mary Ann Alexander, Dishaan, Mallika, Dappest, Jamal Bucanon, Niomí, Dhir Mody & Benni Ola.

TWENTY SEVEN is genuinely a fantastic album and we are so stoked to have ordered the vinyl record for it from Nate’s Official Bandcamp page which makes this an even more special review 🙂
